Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused 3rd Shift Cashier to join our team. This vital role involves delivering outstanding service during overnight hours, managing sales transactions efficiently, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and inviting. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Assist with product demos, merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness Upsell products and promote store specials to enhance sales opportunities Maintain proper phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Support grocery store operations by managing inventory levels and organizing displays Ensure all cash registers are balanced at the end of each shift and handle cash with integrity Experience Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a grocery or convenience store setting Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in team coordination Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and team members alike Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and upselling techniques Knowledge of grocery store operations, merchandising, stock management, and customer service standards Join us in delivering friendly service during the quiet hours of the night!
