Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their purchasing needs, providing exceptional customer service. Operate the cash register (POS system) accurately for retail sales transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Manage the cash drawer efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed at all times. Upsell products and suggest additional items or accessories to enhance customer purchases. Conduct product demos when needed, highlighting features and benefits of featured clothing items. Stock shelves and organize merchandise to maintain an attractive store presentation and ensure product availability. Maintain phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication. Assist with merchandising efforts to keep displays appealing and aligned with store standards. Support inventory management by participating in stock replenishment and inventory counts as directed. Provide bilingual support if applicable, helping communicate effectively with diverse customer groups. Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred, especially in clothing or fashion retail environments. Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership skills in managing team tasks or training new staff. Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is essential for accurate transactions. Experience in cashiering within grocery stores or similar retail settings is advantageous. Strong communication skills are vital for engaging customers confidently and professionally.
