Join our team as a Stocker/Cashier at Royals Market Gas Station . This position helps keep the store clean, stocked, organized, and customer-ready. The Stocker/Cashier is responsible for stocking shelves and coolers, organizing merchandise, cleaning assigned areas, assisting customers, and operating the register when trained and assigned. This role supports the gas station and convenience store environment, including snacks, beverages, grocery items, tobacco and vape products, lottery, fuel customers, and other convenience-store merchandise. The Stocker/Cashier must provide friendly customer service, follow company policies, and help maintain a safe and well-run store. The Stocker/Cashier may work daytime, evening, weekend, holiday, or varying shifts based on business needs, delivery schedules, inventory needs, training, and store coverage. Duties Receive, unload, inspect, organize, and stock incoming merchandise and deliveries. Stock and replenish shelves, coolers, displays, checkout areas, tobacco areas, beverage areas, snack areas, and other convenience-store merchandise areas. Rotate, face, and arrange merchandise so products are neat, visible, accessible, and customer-ready. Monitor and report low-stock, out-of-stock, damaged, leaking, expired, or misplaced products. Apply or replace price labels, shelf tags, product signs, promotional materials, and display signage as directed. Assist with inventory counts, product checks, display setup, and back-stock organization. Clean shelves, displays, counters, floors, coolers, stockrooms, restrooms, entrances, trash areas, and other assigned areas. Remove trash, spills, broken materials, and other hazards promptly and safely. Assist customers with locating merchandise and provide courteous, prompt service. Operate the register and complete customer transactions when trained, authorized, and assigned. Follow company procedures for cash handling, lottery, tobacco and vape sales, age-restricted products, refunds, voids, and customer payments. Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, security issues, fuel-area concerns, or other store conditions requiring management attention. Use ladders, carts, dollies, box cutters, cleaning supplies, and other equipment safely and properly. Perform other duties as assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Shift Lead. Skills & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous stocking, receiving, warehouse, grocery, gas station, convenience-store, cashier, or retail experience preferred but not required. Ability to follow instructions and complete work accurately and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and basic organizational skills. Basic math and counting skills for stocking, inventory, and register transactions. Friendly, professional customer-service skills. Ability to work independently while also cooperating with managers, coworkers, vendors, and delivery personnel. Ability to learn and follow procedures for age-restricted sales, lottery transactions, cash handling, and store safety. Dependable and available to work assigned shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, or varying delivery schedules. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Frequently stands, walks, bends, reaches, stoops, lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and moves throughout the sales floor, stockroom, cooler, checkout area, restrooms, entrances, and other store areas. Regularly lifts, carries, pushes, pulls, and moves merchandise and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to safely use step stools or ladders and operate registers, phones, scanners, keys, locks, carts, dollies, box cutters, and other store equipment. Work is performed primarily indoors in a gas station and convenience-store retail environment, with occasional exposure to coolers, varying temperatures, cleaning products, dust, noise, deliveries, fuel-area conditions, and outdoor conditions. May be required to clean spills, restrooms, trash areas, entrances, and other customer-facing areas. May be required to work mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional hours based on business and staffing needs.

Pay:

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
