Responsibilities Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring products are organized, labeled correctly, and replenished promptly to maintain an appealing store presentation Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for checkout transactions, including cash handling and processing payments Assist customers with product inquiries, product demos, and upselling opportunities to enhance their shopping experience Maintain clean and organized merchandising displays that attract customer attention and promote sales Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and communicating restocking needs to supervisors Ensure adherence to safety protocols and store policies during stocking and cashiering activities Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are a plus for serving diverse customer needs Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and POS operations Demonstrated customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional phone etiquette Supervising experience is advantageous for leadership opportunities within the team Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting Familiarity with merchandising techniques, stock management, and grocery store operations is beneficial Join us in delivering excellent service while developing your retail expertise!
