Job Overview As a scooper & retail store associate, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring efficient transactions at our establishment. • Greet customers with a friendly attitude & provide exceptional service during their visit
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments with precision
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist in packaging food orders and ensuring accuracy
• Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns promptly
• Prepare customer ice cream or frappe orders to ensure timely order fulfillment
• Serve & weigh candy by the pound for customer orders
• Collaborate with team members to complete employee checklists including opening procedures, side work, and closing procedures Qualifications
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Basic math skills for calculating totals and providing correct change
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
• Previous experience in the food industry, retail or customer service is advantageous
• Familiarity with POS systems in a quick-service fast-food restaurant setting is a plus
• Knowledge of safe food handling procedures is beneficial (ServSafe & Allergy Awareness training available for all employees)
