Position Overview:

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused, Part-Time Cashier to join our team. This position can expect an average of less than 35 hours per week (1-3 days). The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a retail environment and is committed to providing outstanding customer service. Schedule & Availability Requirements Rotating schedule (hours and days will vary) Must have weekend availability (rotating weekend schedule) and flexible weekday availability

•5:15 PM (Store hours 9:00 AM

•5:00 PM) Key Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service Assist customers with questions, requests, and product locations Answer and direct incoming phone calls Accurately process transactions using POS system Handle cash and maintain balanced cash drawers Open/close registers and prepare deposits Assist with seasonal greenhouse operations Maintain cleanliness of checkout areas and sales floor Learn store layout and product offerings across all departments Stock and merchandise products as directed Follow all company policies and procedures Qualifications Strong customer service skills (required) Team-oriented with a positive attitude Fast learner with strong attention to detail General computer knowledge Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Self-starter who follows instructions well Cash handling and POS experience preferred Retail experience (1+ year in customer service and cash handling) preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Physical Requirements Standing for extended periods Occasional lifting up to 60 lbs Bending, kneeling, and use of step stools or ladders Ability to read screens and printed materials Communicate effectively in person, by phone, and via radio earpieces Use of keyboard and telephone Benefits Employee store discount PACC membership discount IRA with 3% employer match Supplemental health insurance with employer contributions Paid Time Off (PTO) Application Questions (Suggested for Indeed) Are you available to work weekends?
