Part-time Scale House Clerk in Grandview Raptor Recycle and Transfer - 3.3 Grandview, MO Job Details Part-time $18 - $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Bilingual Sales transaction processing English Performing background checks Computer skills Transfer station Full Job Description Raptor Recycle and Transfer is currently looking for a part-time Office Clerk/Cashier to work at our transfer station . In this position you will be the first person our customers engage with when they enter our facility. At the scale house we weigh trucks in and out of the facility, provide instructions on what bay the drivers need to go to and help facilitate payment. You will be interacting with the public, answering phones and directing questions to the proper team member. You must have excellent customer service, good computer skills, and cash handling experience. Bi-lingual preferred. Responsibilities would include but not limited to: Greet and direct all customers upon entry of the transfer station. Weigh incoming loads and print weight tickets. Answering phone calls and providing information or transferring to appropriate staff member in a professional and enthusiastic fashion. Track weight information from scale to computer system and obtain appropriate signatures. Review cameras to ensure that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any visible inappropriate material. Accepting or rejecting loads based on content. Assist in reconciliation of daily cash and credit card transactions. End of day reporting. Ensure that customers are aware of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements. Provide general upkeep of the scale house. Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate a high degree of tact, discretion and diplomacy. Perform other job duties as needed. Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check. Raptor is a drug and alcohol free work place. Applicant must be able to pass drug screening with a clean screening.
