Cashier Full-time | Monday-Friday | 9:00am-5:30pm On-site | Permanent position We're looking for a Cashier to handle customer transactions accurately and provide friendly, efficient service at the point of sale. You'll process purchases, answer basic customer questions, handle payments, and help keep the checkout area organized. This role would suit someone who is comfortable working with customers, pays attention to detail, and can stay focused in a busy environment. Day to Day Greet customers and provide assistance at the checkout Process cash, card, and other approved payment methods accurately Scan and enter products into the point-of-sale system Provide customers with receipts and confirm transaction details Answer basic questions about products, prices, and store procedures Handle returns, exchanges, or refunds in line with company procedures Check prices and resolve straightforward pricing discrepancies Count and balance the cash drawer according to company procedures Report transaction or payment issues to the appropriate team member Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and properly stocked Assist with bagging and preparing customer purchases when required Help direct customers to the appropriate department or team member Support the wider store team with routine tasks during quieter periods Follow company procedures for cash handling, customer service, and loss prevention What's Important You'll need good customer service and communication skills, basic computer confidence, and strong attention to detail. Accuracy is particularly important when processing payments and handling transactions. Previous cashier, retail, customer service, hospitality, or sales experience is helpful, although training on our point-of-sale system and company procedures will be provided.
