+ Provisions is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Cashier to support daily restaurant operations and provide efficient service to guests. This role involves greeting customers, processing payments, assisting with orders, answering basic menu questions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate is attentive, professional, and comfortable working in a busy restaurant and bar environment. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service. Take customer orders accurately and confirm order details. Operate the POS system and process cash, card, and other approved payments. Answer basic questions about menu items, pricing, and restaurant offerings. Communicate customer orders and special requests clearly with kitchen and service staff. Provide receipts and assist with routine checkout requests. Organize completed orders for pickup or service as needed. Keep the register, counter, and front-of-house areas clean and organized. Restock bags, containers, napkins, utensils, and other service supplies. Assist coworkers with routine restaurant duties during busy service periods. Help maintain smooth customer and order flow throughout the shift. Follow cash-handling, food-safety, sanitation, and restaurant procedures. Support opening, closing, and other daily responsibilities as assigned. Communicate customer concerns or order issues to the appropriate team member. Qualifications Previous cashier, restaurant, café, retail, or customer-service experience is helpful. Friendly, respectful, and professional approach to customers. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and responsible. Comfortable learning and using POS systems. Good attention to detail and transaction accuracy. Able to remain organized during busy service periods. Willingness to learn menu items and restaurant procedures. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
