As the front-line ambassador of our store, you will lead the cashier team, ensuring smooth and efficient checkout experiences for our customers. Duties Supervise daily cashier operations, ensuring accurate cash handling and POS (Point of Sale) system usage. Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, addressing questions, and resolving issues promptly. Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging additional sales. Assist with merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays to enhance store presentation. Perform retail math calculations for transactions, discounts, and inventory counts with precision. Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a friendly approach. Train and mentor new cashier team members on POS procedures, phone etiquette, and customer interaction best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in retail sales or cashiering roles, preferably within a grocery store or similar environment. Supervising experience in a retail setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math. Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive shopping experiences. Ability to perform merchandising tasks including stocking shelves and organizing displays effectively.
