Your locally owned and operated Mak Mak Thai Cuisine is looking for someone to join our team in a part-time role! Mak Mak Thai Cuisine is an award winning restaurant, having won awards for Best of Utah, Best of Salt Lake, Best of Northern Utah, Best of Davis County, and many more. We're looking for a positive, customer minded team member to join our front of house team. The Front-End Team Member is responsible for efficiently interacting with customers, preparing food, and ensuring the restaurant environment is clean and welcoming. The Front-End Team Member will lead and assist staff to achieve the highest level of customer service, while adhering to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, policies and Health and Safety, and other programs and initiatives.

Qualifications include:

Can greet customer with a good attitude, even when it's busy Can work focused and composed Can consistently show up on the days they're scheduled on time Always positive The following duties day to day include: Greeting customers as they arrive at the restaurant Taking customer orders accurately and efficiently Processing customer payments and making change as needed Preparing food and beverages following specific methods and procedures Maintaining cleanliness and order in the dining room and behind the counter Ensuring food and drink items are stocked and ready for use Complying with all food safety regulations and guidelines Handling to-go orders in a timely manner with 100% accuracy Handling customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as setting up equipment and cleaning the restaurant Communicating effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Fast Casual Service Team Member to join our team. Our ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a keen attention to detail. Prior experience in a similar role is a plus but not a necessity, as we are willing to train the right candidate.
