Duties Supervise and motivate a team of canvassers to achieve outreach goals through door-to-door and outdoor canvassing activities Train new team members on effective face-to-face communication, canvassing techniques, and community engagement strategies Coordinate daily schedules, assign territories, and monitor team performance to ensure high-quality interactions Engage with community members using conversational skills to inform, educate, and gather feedback on various initiatives Utilize mobile devices for data collection, reporting, and communication during outreach activities Foster positive relationships with community stakeholders to enhance outreach impact and build trust Support fundraising efforts by promoting campaigns and encouraging community participation Requirements Proven supervising or leadership experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor work environments Strong communication skills with the ability to engage in meaningful conversations face-to-face and via telecommunication channels Experience in marketing, customer service, or community engagement preferred Ability to walk extensively during outdoor activities; reliable transportation such as walking or biking is essential Bilingual abilities are a plus to connect with diverse communities effectively Skilled in negotiation and persuasive conversation to motivate community participation Familiarity with mobile devices for data entry, reporting, and communication purposes Prior experience in fundraising or telemarketing is advantageous but not required This role is perfect for energetic individuals passionate about making a difference through direct community interaction.
