Job Description

Door to door, one address at a time. Sell fiber, and get paid on every completed install. RCLX, via KnockFiber, is adding door-to-door reps in Minneapolis, starting with ZIP code 55407. RCLX already has reps selling fiber in nearby Bloomington and Edina, and we are bringing on more. T-Mobile lists Minneapolis on its own fiber availability page (checked October 9, 2026). Availability is per-address, so you check a specific home before you tell a household anything about it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Knock residential doors in Minneapolis or surrounding areas, at addresses the availability check confirms
  • Explain fiber in plain words, then let the address check say what each household can get
  • Sign interested households up on your phone; the carrier schedules and completes the install
  • Set your own hours.
Most people answer afternoon into evening, plus weekends
HOW THE PAY WORKS 1099
independent contractor, 100 percent commission, no base pay. A set commission on every completed install, paid every two weeks, no quota. We do not quote income figures in job ads — individual results vary and no earnings are guaranteed.

WHAT YOU GET
  • The pitch and the objection answers that already work at these doors
  • Ride-alongs with a closer before you knock alone, and a coach through week one
  • A T-Mobile support line you can call from the doorstep when an order sticks
YOUR SALE STAYS YOUR SALE
Every sale carries your dealer code from the second you submit it, so the person who knocked the door is the person who gets credited and paid for it. No shared pots, no sorting out later who had the conversation.
WHY MINNEAPOLIS
Minneapolis is the largest city in Minnesota, about 428,600 residents in the Census Bureau's 2024 estimate. Roughly half of households rent and about four in ten homes are single-family houses, so you will talk to renters and owners alike.
WINTER, SAID PLAINLY
January's normal high at Minneapolis-St. Paul airport is 23.6 F (NOAA 1991-2020). When the ground freezes the team keeps selling on aerial fiber turf in the south metro, so this is not a summer job that ends in November.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
Training starts from zero: the pitch, coaching and ride-alongs before your first solo shift. No degree, resume optional. Came from solar, pest, alarms or cable? knockfiber.com/ex-solar Already running a crew? Bring them — we place everyone together where the area supports it, and crew structure is a conversation with ownership: knockfiber.com/bring-your-team
GETTING STARTED
Credentialing takes about a week on the real T-Mobile systems and you come out of it with your own dealer code. You spend that week in training, then ride with someone already selling this product before you knock alone.
WHAT YOU NEED
  • A smartphone, a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • You are 18 or older and can pass identity verification (required by T-Mobile)
  • You can work in the U.S. as a 1099 independent contractor. No degree required
  • Minneapolis requires door-to-door solicitors to register with the city (no fee) and carry and display the city ID card while working
  • Minneapolis limits door knocking to 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. (or sunset, if later), and you skip any home posting a no-solicitation sign
  • Comfort outside in Minnesota weather, winter included Apply in 30 seconds with your name, number and Minneapolis as your city.
A recruiter texts you back, usually within minutes: https://www.knockfiber.com/jobs/minneapolis?utm_source=indeed&utm_medium=jobpost&utm_campaign=jobs-minneapolis-55407 RCLX is an independent recruiting and sales agency; KnockFiber independently recruits reps for RCLX. Not sponsored, certified, endorsed, or approved by Deutsche Telekom AG or T-Mobile USA, Inc. "T-Mobile" and "T-Mobile Fiber" are referenced for nominative, descriptive purposes only.
Benefits:
Flexible schedule Application Question(s): How many years of door to door or outside commission sales experience do you have? Credentialing and onboarding takes about a week. How soon could you start ? Pitch me. Why should I hand you turf instead of the next guy who applies? Two or three sentences, in your own words. Which of these have you sold door to door? (Fiber or Internet, Solar, Pest Control, Roofing, Other, or none yet)
Work Location:
In person

Benefits

  • Flexible Work Schedules
  • Dental Insurance
