Paid Political Canvasser — Northeast Ohio Join our Northeast Ohio field team! We are hiring motivated, outgoing people to join our team as Paid Political Canvassers . Canvassers will work in local neighborhoods, visiting voters at their homes, having brief conversations, sharing information about our candidate, and recording voter feedback using a mobile phone. This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy meeting others, working independently, and spending time outdoors. Political or canvassing experience is helpful, but not required — we provide the training and tools you need to succeed. What You'll Do Visit homes throughout assigned Northeast Ohio neighborhoods and speak with residents at the door. Have brief, friendly conversations with voters about the campaign and current issues. Conduct short surveys and accurately record responses. Share campaign information and communicate the candidate's message clearly and respectfully. Listen to residents and use your smartphone to record clear, meaningful, and useful feedback from the voters for the campaign team. Work independently while following assigned areas, daily goals, and campaign procedures. Represent the campaign professionally and respectfully in all interactions. Communicate with members of the campaign team regarding progress, questions, and field conditions. What We're Looking For Friendly, confident people who are comfortable talking with strangers. Strong verbal communication and active-listening skills. Dependability and the ability to work independently. A positive, professional attitude. The ability to listen, learn, and consistently use a smartphone-based application. Previous political campaign experience is not required . Comfortable walking several hours per day and working outdoors in changing weather conditions. Supervisory or team-lead experience is a plus for applicants interested in leadership opportunities.
