Position Overview Anytime Fitness St. Joseph is looking for a friendly, dependable and motivated Member Experience Specialist to help prospective members get started and provide excellent service to our existing members. This position combines membership sales, customer service and basic club operations. You will welcome guests, conduct gym tours, complete new-member signups, follow up with prospective members and help create an environment where people feel comfortable and supported. You do not need previous fitness-industry experience. We are looking for someone who communicates well, follows through and genuinely enjoys helping people. Responsibilities Welcome members, guests and prospective members Conduct gym tours and learn about each prospect's goals Explain membership options, club services and available discounts accurately Complete new-member signups and update member accounts Follow up with leads by phone, text and email Schedule tours and fitness consultations Respond to membership questions and service requests Help new members feel comfortable using the gym Support member engagement and retention efforts Maintain accurate notes and records in club systems Assist with club promotions and community outreach when needed Keep the front office and member areas clean, organized and welcoming Work with the gym manager to achieve membership and service goals Qualifications Friendly, professional and comfortable speaking with new people Dependable, punctual and able to work independently Strong communication and listening skills Comfortable discussing memberships and asking for the sale Able to follow up consistently without using high-pressure tactics Basic computer, texting and email skills Able to stay organized and manage multiple responsibilities Customer-service or sales experience is preferred but not required Fitness-industry experience is helpful but not required Must be at least 18 years old Benefits Free Anytime Fitness membership Performance incentives Training on club systems and membership options Supportive, locally owned work environment Opportunity to gain sales and customer-service experience Potential for additional hours and advancement based on performance About Anytime Fitness St. Joseph Anytime Fitness St. Joseph is a locally owned, 24-hour fitness center serving people of all ages and fitness levels.
