Job Overview Unique Fitness is looking to fill immediate positions for Membership Sales Representatives at its Shirley location. This is a membership and retention sales job. As a Membership Sales Rep you are responsible for making phone calls to leads generated from internal/external marketing and walk-ins, follow up on leads and new members, give gym tours, sell products and services and provide an amazing customer service experience. At Unique Fitness we gain new members by providing an awesome experience, building relationships, trust & value and by letting them have input into the selection process. Days, Nights, Weekends, and some Holidays required. Responsibilities Greet and assist members and potential members with inquiries regarding membership options and benefits. Process membership applications and renewals efficiently using POS systems. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Conduct product demonstrations to educate members about services and promotions. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while supervising the front desk area. Utilize phone etiquette to manage incoming calls professionally, addressing member concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to enhance overall customer satisfaction and improve service delivery. Provide bilingual support as needed to accommodate diverse member needs. Skills Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills to ensure accurate transaction processing. Experience with POS systems is preferred for efficient transaction management. Ability to supervise staff or volunteers in a busy environment while maintaining high service standards. Experience in grocery store settings is a plus, enhancing familiarity with product offerings. Bilingual abilities are highly desirable, allowing for better communication with all members. Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with members.
