We are a wholesale distribution company seeking a Part Time Seasonal Retail Merchandiser in the Portland area to join our dynamic team! We've been in business serving the grocery industry for over 45 years, supplying our customers with general merchandise, specialty foods and great service! This position is ideal for an individual who is self motivated and self starting. This a part time position, three days per week. Typically there are 24 hours of work per week. Includes retail locations in the greater Portland areas. You must be willing and able to drive to the retail locations throughout the area for this position. Company vehicle will be provided. This job requires working the day shift during normal weekdays, three days a week (we will work with the candidate to establish which days of the week the route will run). Hours are 6 AM - 2:30 PM.

Job Duties:

Maintain a scheduled service route and assist sales team with area coverage, store displays, new installations, resets and other retail service duties. Set up and fill seasonal displays. The successful candidate must be able to: Display self-driven, positive attitude and integrity Be punctual and work all scheduled hours, adhering to a regular weekly schedule Have a valid drivers license with a clean record and proof of insuranceGood phone and written communication skills Have an active cell phone with internet access and ability to take photos and use email address for daily communication Previous retail or merchandising experience helpful but not required We offer : Seasonal part time position A regular work schedule (three days a week between the hours of 6AM - 2:30 PM) Company vehicle provided Paid Training Primarily work independently

Requirements:

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to work independently and with a team Requires attention to detail and a sense of urgency Ability to lift, stand, walk, stoop, reach, sit, with occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record

Pay:

From $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 per week
