2945706313-2 Apply for this job now Job Description The Retail Odyssey Company is hiring a Traveling Retail Merchandiser to execute in-store merchandising for leading brands across multiple retail locations. In this fast-paced, field-based role, you'll travel between assigned stores to set and maintain planograms, build and refresh displays, ensure shelf tags and signage are accurate, and verify promotional and seasonal sets. You'll audit inventory, capture data and photos using mobile tools, and report results to your supervisor and client teams. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, reliability, the ability to work independently, and comfort driving a regular store route. You'll collaborate with store personnel, solve on-the-floor issues, and represent The Retail Odyssey Company's commitment to excellent retail execution. This position offers hands-on exposure to leading CPG brands and major retailers, with opportunities to grow into expanded merchandising, field leadership, or analytics-focused roles. Responsibilities Travel to assigned retail stores within a territory to complete scheduled merchandising visits Set, adjust, and maintain planograms, modulars, and shelf layouts to client specifications Build, refresh, and maintain endcaps, promotional, and seasonal product displays Ensure shelf tags, pricing, and in-store signage are accurate and current Perform basic inventory checks, audits, and product rotation to improve on-shelf availability Capture photos, complete surveys, and submit visit reports using mobile or handheld tools Communicate with store management and staff to coordinate access, timing, and execution Follow detailed instructions, timelines, and priorities while working independently in the field Resolve on-the-floor issues such as missing product, space constraints, or display challenges Uphold company and retailer safety, appearance, and professionalism standards while representing The Retail Odyssey Company Required Skills Retail merchandising Planogram reading Shelf and display resets Inventory auditing Point-of-sale and signage setup Data entry and reporting apps Time management Retail math basics Driving and route planning Customer and client communication
