Receiving / Bond Room Specialist Job Description The Receiving / Bond Room Specialist receives, verifies, documents, and stores parts in the bond room while carefully maintaining manufacturing traceability. This role ensures accurate processing of incoming customer parts, coordinates with internal teams and external cleaning vendors, and supports operations by moving parts through the facility in a timely and compliant manner. Responsibilities Receive and uncrate incoming parts with attention to detail and proper handling. Verify part numbers, volume, and quantities against documentation before delivering items to the bond room. Scan and upload certifications into the system once all items are verified to maintain accurate manufacturing trace records. Receive customer parts by reviewing purchase orders and confirming serial numbers, part numbers, customer information, part status, and any discrepancies. Identify issues or differences on purchase orders and promptly notify the customer service team so they can resolve them with the customer. Enter part numbers, serial numbers, and customer information into SAP or the ERP system to initiate accurate downstream processing. Determine whether parts should be sent to outside cleaning vendors or moved directly to the operations team based on established processes. Work with quality team members to obtain and follow proper processes and documentation for outside cleaning vendors. Occasionally pick up parts from the shop and transport them to the bond room, ensuring traceability and correct documentation. Collaborate with quality, engineering, and other cell or group members to support safe, compliant, and efficient handling of parts. Maintain a conscientious approach to customer satisfaction and compliance with applicable export requirements in all receiving and bond room activities. Essential Skills Experience with receiving processes and handling incoming parts or materials. Basic computer skills, including the ability to use standard software applications. Minor Microsoft Excel skills for simple data entry or tracking tasks. Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong conscientiousness and attention to detail, with a clear understanding of the impact of accuracy on customer satisfaction and compliance with export requirements. Valid driver's license for driving responsibilities upon permanent conversion. High school diploma or GED. Additional Skills & Qualifications Some SAP or ERP system knowledge is helpful for entering and tracking part and customer information. Ability to collaborate closely with quality personnel to follow documented processes for outside cleaning vendors. Work Environment This role follows a Monday through Friday schedule from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Work takes place in a climate-controlled building, though the immediate area includes large shipping bay doors that remain open much of the time. You will move between multiple buildings on site and should be prepared to encounter outdoor elements while traveling between locations. The environment is highly collaborative, with regular interaction among cell members and cross-functional groups such as quality and engineering. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springdale, AR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
