Have you worked at an auto parts counter where hydraulic hoses were made? Tiger Labor & Staffing is hiring for a hydraulic hose and parts counter position in Baker, starting at $16 per hour . If you've worked at NAPA, O'Reilly Auto Parts, an independent parts store or a similar business—and either made hydraulic hoses or regularly watched and assisted someone who did—we want to hear from you. You don't have to consider yourself an experienced hose technician. We're interested in someone who already understands parts-counter work and has some familiarity with hoses, fittings and the assembly process. The job combines hands-on hose work, helping customers and using the computer at the parts desk. Once hired by the client, medical insurance is 100% paid after the applicable waiting period. Duties Assist customers at the parts counter and by phone with hoses, fittings and related products. Measure, cut and assemble hydraulic hoses according to shop procedures. Use the parts-desk computer to look up products, enter orders and maintain accurate information. Pull customer orders, restock inventory and keep the counter and shop organized. Check measurements and order details carefully, asking questions when something is unclear. Assist with shipping/receiving as necessary Assist with fabrication department as necessary Follow safety procedures when using tools and hose-making equipment. Requirements Previous parts-counter experience in an auto parts store, industrial supply business or similar setting. Familiarity with hydraulic hose assembly through making hoses, assisting or regularly observing the process. Comfortable using computers and learning parts and order-entry software. Professional, friendly communication with customers in person and by phone. Able to read a tape measure, use basic hand tools and pay close attention to details. Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to work in Baker. Willingness to learn and handle both shop work and customer service. Must pass a pre-employment background check.
