• We are expanding and seeking an energetic and experienced CDJR (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram) Parts Counter Person to join our dynamic dealership team. In this role, you will be the vital link between customers and our extensive inventory of automotive parts and accessories. Duties Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories, providing expert advice based on vehicle systems and repair needs Manage inventory levels through accurate inventory control, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure availability of parts at all times Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for sales transactions, cash handling, and invoicing with precision and efficiency Collaborate with service technicians and sales teams to ensure seamless communication regarding parts availability and vehicle maintenance requirements Maintain detailed records of sales, inventory movements, and customer interactions using dealership management software such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and Microsoft Office tools Support automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting by understanding vehicle systems to better assist customers with their repair needs Build strong customer relationships through excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, and personalized service to encourage repeat business Skills Extensive knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, and vehicle systems with experience in automotive repair or dealership parts departments Proficiency in inventory management, stock control, order fulfillment, and retail math to optimize sales performance Strong negotiation skills to upsell products while maintaining customer satisfaction Ability to operate POS systems effectively along with familiarity with cash handling procedures Mechanical troubleshooting skills combined with automotive diagnostics expertise to assist customers accurately Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued for serving diverse customer bases Excellent communication skills for client interaction both in person and over the phone; professional phone etiquette is essential Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Experience with dealership software Dealer Track or similar inventory management tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a plus Knowledge of automotive parts management practices including stocking, inventory control, and order processing Customer service orientation with a focus on building long-term client relationships through trust and expertise Join us as an Experienced CDJR Parts Counter Person if you're passionate about cars, thrive on helping customers find the right solutions, and want to be part of a team that values your mechanical knowledge and sales skills.
