We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment. This position plays an important role in supporting our technicians, service advisors, wholesale customers, retail customers, and overall dealership operation. Automotive parts experience is strongly preferred, but just as important to us is finding someone with a great attitude, strong attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow. What You'll Do As a Parts Specialist, you will help ensure our customers and technicians get the correct parts, at the correct time, with great service.

Responsibilities include:

Assist technicians and Service Department personnel with identifying and supplying needed parts Assist retail and wholesale customers at the parts counter and over the phone Accurately look up parts using electronic catalogs and manufacturer resources Process parts sales, quotes, invoices, returns, and special orders Communicate parts availability, pricing, and estimated arrival times Maintain accurate records for incoming, outgoing, and special-order parts Receive and properly stock daily parts shipments Help maintain an organized, clean, and accurate Parts Department Notify appropriate employees or customers when special-order parts arrive Assist with inventory counts and inventory-control processes Help identify obsolete, damaged, incorrect, or excess inventory Work closely with technicians and Service Advisors to keep repair orders moving efficiently Maintain positive relationships with retail, wholesale, and internal dealership customers Follow Honda of Kirkland processes and procedures for parts handling, documentation, and inventory control Participate as a team member and help wherever needed to keep the department operating efficiently What We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Provides excellent customer service Is dependable and shows up ready to work Has strong organizational and multitasking skills Pays close attention to accuracy and detail Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers Can work effectively in a busy dealership environment Is comfortable using computers and learning dealership software Has the ability to research and identify the correct automotive parts Works well as part of a team Takes ownership of their work and follows through Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn Preferred Experience Automotive dealership parts experience Automotive parts counter experience Honda or other OEM dealership experience Electronic parts catalog experience Dealership management system experience Retail or wholesale automotive parts experience General automotive knowledge Prior Honda experience is a plus but is not required for the right candidate. Physical Requirements This position may require: Standing and walking for extended periods Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting Moving and stocking automotive parts Safely lifting parts weighing approximately 50 pounds Working in both parts-counter and warehouse environments Why Honda of Kirkland? Compensation & Benefits Pay:
