Salary + Commission on Bids Won About the Role Signarama Troy, the world's largest Signarama location, is hiring a Bid Division Representative to grow our government, municipal, contractor, and institutional bid business. This is a self-directed, research-heavy role for someone who thrives on deadlines, detail, and closing. You'll own the full bid lifecycle: finding opportunities, building compliant bid packages, tracking awards, and handing off won jobs for kickoff. Commission is earned on bids won, so your pipeline volume and win rate directly drive your paycheck. What You'll Do Bid Sourcing & Pipeline Management Source bid opportunities through government portals, contractor networks, and institutional channels Maintain a current pipeline with deadline, value estimate, and status for every active opportunity Qualify opportunities before committing time. We bid on work that matches our capabilities Report pipeline status and win/loss results to the Director weekly Bid Preparation & Submission Prepare complete, compliant bid packages: specifications, pricing, timelines, and required documentation Coordinate with our Vendor Relations & Job Costing Specialist for accurate pricing on complex bids Hit every submission deadline. No exceptions. A missed deadline is missed revenue Post-Award Coordination Notify the Director and Local Project Manager immediately upon award Deliver a complete job brief to the PM for kickoff: specs, timelines, compliance requirements, and client contacts What This Role Doesn't Do Submit bids outside approved pricing parameters without Director authorization Commit production capacity or timelines without Production Coordinator confirmation Manage the job after award. Handoff to the Local Project Manager is immediate and complete How Success Is Measured Bids submitted per month Win rate, tracked quarter over quarter Revenue from bids won (commission tied) Active pipeline value, tracked weekly On-time submission rate, target 100% Why This Role Matters This position opens a revenue channel our traditional sales team can't reach: government contracts, municipal projects, and institutional work that requires a formal bid process.
