Job Summary We are seeking a Pricing Coordinator to execute all aspects for quote requests through review of item specifications, bid process, record dollars. Process purchase orders by analyzing the support data against the purchase order and inform customer service if the delivery request cannot be met as well as any other irregularities such as specification, cost, measurements, and COM requirements. Correspond with designers and purchasing agents. Interface between design, customer service and sales. Perform other related duties as requested by management.
Duties:
Coordinate all RFQ requests for quote; determine If the item should go out for costing. Send to various suppliers for costs. Forward complete RFQ file with costs to customer (Program business) and Sales Manager for project/customization for final determination of sell cost. Create spread sheet analyzing various cost comparisons or com usages. Assign quote number, tally and record RFQ's dollars in Access database. Prepare quotes and send to sales representative and customer. Create electronic master file/and actual file. Created and maintain excel database for tracking purchase orders and processes. Purchase orders come in as an e-mail/fax/mail, print and correlate. Match specifications to the corresponding COM Information. Assign new product numbers to custom items not made previously. Research for previously assigned style number. Enter purchase order entering with copy of the Charter Sales quote. Prepare vendor cost sheet corresponding to the purchase order with vendor selection, side marks, quantities, and other pertinent information such as flammability issues. Electronically file purchase orders, vendor costing for future "quick" reference. Perform other duties as required or assigned.
Skills:
College degree preferred. 3-5 years relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of furniture and hospitality standards; furniture standards knowledge on large hotel chains. Ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis with minimal supervision. Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; result oriented with a strong attention to detail. Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills; the ability to interface effectively at all levels both internally and externally. Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
