Job Description

Overview Marzetti is seeking a Foodservice Pricing and Trade Strategy Intern to join our 2027 Summer Internship Program! Still in school but ready to start building your career? Essential Functions/Primary Responsibilities:
Support customer quote requests, bid pricing, and customer pricing updates. Assist with new product costing activities by gathering, organizing, and validating required data. Analyze pricing trends, customer profitability, product performance, and other key business metrics. Enter and maintain customer pricing information in SAP. Review pricing reports to identify discrepancies, investigate potential root causes, and recommend corrective actions under the guidance of the Pricing team. Compile and organize pricing data for analysis, reporting, and decision-making. Support analysis of trade spending, promotional activity, and customer performance. Help compare planned trade activity with actual results and identify trends, variances, and opportunities. Assist with customer planning materials, business reviews, and other analyses that support Sales and Trade Strategy discussions. Support the review and validation of trade-related information to improve data accuracy and consistency. Qualifications →
What You'll Bring Qualification Requirements:
Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in: Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Marketing, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong interest in pricing, trade strategy, analytics, finance, sales strategy, or business operations. Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Effective communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, and meet deadlines Action-oriented approach with sound judgment, integrity, and a balance of strategic thinking and practical execution Curiosity and willingness to learn new systems, analytical tools, and business processes About Us The Marzetti Company (
