This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with customers, preparing high-quality food, and creating a welcoming event experience. The ideal candidate has a foodservice or catering background and is comfortable preparing pizzas and Pinsa Romana using both electric countertop ovens and wood-burning pizza ovens. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and break down catering and demonstration spaces, including tables, displays, ovens, service equipment, and supplies Prepare, assemble, bake, and present pizzas, Pinsa Romana, food samples, and beverages according to Passione's quality and presentation standards Safely operate electric countertop ovens and wood-burning pizza ovens while managing cooking times, temperatures, and product consistency Serve food and beverages professionally, including wine service when applicable, while creating a welcoming guest experience Engage with guests, answer questions about products and ingredients, distribute samples, and represent Passione Brands professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked station while following food-safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures Assist with bussing, replenishing supplies, monitoring inventory, and loading or unloading event equipment Operate POS systems and process customer payments accurately when sales are conducted at an event Qualifications Previous foodservice, catering, restaurant, or hospitality experience Strong customer-service and communication skills Comfortable working directly with the public Experience using pizza ovens, commercial ovens, or similar cooking equipment Comfortable working around heat and operating a wood-burning oven Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during busy events Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional Knowledge of basic food-safety and sanitation practices Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Availability for a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred California Food Handler Card required or must be obtained before beginning work Join us in delivering exceptional experiences through energetic service, culinary expertise, and genuine guest engagement.
