Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal/Assistant to join our legal team. In this role, you will provide support in managing real estate transactions, conducting legal research, and preparing documentation related to residential and commercial real estate transactions. Your proactive approach and strong understanding of legal procedures will help ensure smooth operations across various real estate projects. Duties Assist attorneys with residential and commercial real estate transactions Prepare and review real estate documents, including agreements of sale, deeds, easements, leases, and closing documents Order and review title searches and title insurance commitments Coordinate title curative work and resolve title issues Prepare settlement statements and closing documents Work closely with clients, lenders, title companies, realtors and other professionals Schedule and coordinate real estate closings Assist with recording deeds, mortgages, and other documents Review property tax information and municipal records Maintain accurate and organized transaction files Communicate professionally and effectively with clients and other parties Assist attorneys with other real estate and general legal matters as needed Requirements Proven legal experience with a focus on real estate law or related legal fields Familiarity with Title Insurance policies to a degree of being able to explain the same to a client Familiarity with deeds, mortgages, recording requirements, and real estate documentation Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines simultaneously Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team Effective client communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette Knowledge of procedural law standards applicable to civil litigation and real estate transactions Ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Pay:
$35,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
