Job Description
Long-Lewis Auto Group is looking for a Rental Operations Coordinator to join our team! This is more than a customer service position—it's an opportunity to take ownership of an essential part of our dealership's daily operations. As our Rental Operations Coordinator, you'll be trusted to oversee the day-to-day rental process, coordinate vehicle availability, and deliver an outstanding customer experience from reservation to return. Role:
The Rental Operations Coordinator is responsible for managing the daily operations of the rental department. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication, sound judgment, and the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while providing exceptional customer service. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for rental customers while working closely with other dealership departments to ensure a seamless rental experience.
What You'll Do:
Coordinate rental reservations from initial inquiry through vehicle return Manage vehicle availability and scheduling to maximize efficiency Deliver exceptional customer service in person, over the phone, and via email Maintain accurate rental agreements, records, and documentation Communicate effectively with customers and dealership departments to ensure smooth operations Resolve customer questions and concerns professionally and efficiently Prioritize daily responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail Identify opportunities to improve processes and proactively solve problems Help ensure the rental department operates efficiently and reflects the Long-Lewis commitment to outstanding customer service
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or GED required At least 2 years of customer service experience At least 1 year of rental car service experience Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Strong administrative, organizational, computer, and phone skills Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities Professional, courteous, and confident demeanor Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Why Join Long-Lewis?
