Gardner, KS Job Details Full-time $17 - $21 an hour 12 days ago Benefits Health savings account Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Life insurance Qualifications Computer operation Packing Palletization Attention to detail Warehouse experience Full Job Description Warehouse Returns & Shipping Coordinator About the Role BStock is looking for an organized and dependable Warehouse Returns & Shipping Coordinator to manage the day-to-day workflow at one of our satellite warehouse locations in Olathe. This is a hands-on, largely self-managed position focused on processing electronics and other merchandise for return to distribution. You'll be responsible for keeping products organized, processing returns accurately and on time, preparing outbound shipments, and handling shipping and receiving activity at the warehouse. Some returns are simple and may only require verifying the item and applying a shipping label. Others may need to be inspected, photographed, documented, packaged, palletized, and prepared for freight pickup. You'll also be expected to identify and troubleshoot issues as they come up, communicate with the appropriate teams, and help coordinate solutions when a return cannot be processed normally. Because you'll often be working independently, we need someone who can stay organized, manage their workload, and keep things moving without needing constant direction. What Your Day Will Look Like A typical day will revolve around keeping incoming and outgoing inventory moving efficiently. You'll start by reviewing the items that need to be processed and organizing your workload based on priority. From there, you may be verifying part numbers and serial numbers, taking photos, reviewing return instructions, printing labels, packaging items, or organizing larger quantities onto pallets. Throughout the day, you'll also be responsible for receiving any incoming shipments at the warehouse. This may include opening the dock, meeting delivery drivers, signing for shipments, checking what was received, and moving products into the appropriate staging area. As issues come up, you'll be expected to investigate them, gather the necessary information or photos, and communicate with the appropriate internal teams to determine the next step. You'll also prepare completed returns for UPS, FedEx, freight, or other carrier pickups. Some items may simply need a label applied to the original box, while others may require repacking, securing to a pallet, organizing multiple units together, or preparing documentation for shipment. A major part of the role is simply keeping the warehouse organized and making sure returns do not sit unnecessarily. You'll have ownership over the workflow at the location and will be expected to keep products moving from receipt through final shipment. What You'll Do Process merchandise being returned to distributors Verify products, part numbers, serial numbers, descriptions, and return information Inspect and photograph products when needed Document product condition, issues, and return details Review return instructions and determine the appropriate processing steps Troubleshoot problems that prevent a return from being processed normally Coordinate return issues with internal teams and help determine solutions Print and apply UPS, FedEx, and other shipping labels Package products appropriately for shipment Organize and secure larger shipments on pallets Prepare parcel and freight shipments for carrier pickup Receive incoming deliveries and shipments Open and close dock doors for deliveries and pickups Sign for incoming shipments and verify what was received Organize incoming inventory into the correct staging areas Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and return records Keep completed returns moving out of the warehouse in a timely manner Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment Communicate with the main BStock team when questions, discrepancies, or unusual situations come up What We're Looking For Highly organized and detail-oriented Dependable and comfortable working independently Able to manage priorities without constant supervision Strong problem-solving skills Comfortable communicating with multiple teams when issues arise Comfortable being on your feet for much of the workday Able to lift, move, package, and organize electronics and other merchandise Comfortable working around pallets, loading docks, and shipping equipment Basic computer skills Comfortable working from spreadsheets, shipping systems, and return documentation Able to follow detailed instructions and match products to the correct paperwork Able to take clear product and condition photos when needed Good communication and documentation skills Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, inventory, or returns experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person Why BStock? This is a good opportunity for someone who likes having ownership over their workspace and daily responsibilities. You'll be managing the daily flow of a smaller satellite warehouse rather than working in the middle of a large warehouse team. The work is straightforward, but staying organized, solving problems, and keeping shipments moving on time will be important. For someone who works well independently and enjoys having responsibility over their own area, this role offers a lot of autonomy while still having support from the larger BStock team when needed.
