Stone Fabrication & Yard Team Member Full Time - Starting pay based on experience.

Learn:

This is not a desk job and not an easy labor position. The work involves lifting, bending, moving HEAVY stone, working outside in the stone yard and or Quarry in all weather. Operating and learning specialized equipment. The right person will be someone who enjoys working with their hands, doesn't mind physical work and takes pride in doing a job correctly. Responsibilities Measuring and laying out stone accurately Basic Job -Math Cutting and shaping stone. Bridge Saw Operation. Wire Saw Operation Stone polishing and finishing Thermal Texturing/ " Thermaling" stone. Moving and Handling Large, Heave Slabs Preparing stone for custom residential and commercial projects. General stone yard - and shop responsibilities. Banding Pallets Loading and unloading tractor trailers. Skills No previous stone experience is required for the right person we are willing to train someone who is reliable, dependable, mechanically inclined, willing to learn and has a good work ethic. what we are looking for Reliable dependable own transportation is a MUST Comfortable doing Heavy Physical Work Able to lift, carry and move heavy material safely. Comfortable working outside in different weather conditions Able to read a tape measure and learn measurments. Comfortable learning basic job related math. Mechanically Inclined and willing to learn machinery. Pays attention to detail Works well Independently and as part of a team Shows up on time and takes pride in their work Why This Job?
