Music & Arts is seeking a PT Senior Sales Associate to support our mission of advancing music education through exceptional retail service. In this role, you'll lead by example on the sales floor, driving sales of instruments, accessories, rentals, repairs, and private lessons. You'll guide students, parents, and educators to the right products, promote lesson programs, and support school partnerships. Responsibilities include customer service, POS transactions, merchandising, and mentoring junior staff within a collaborative, student-focused environment. Responsibilities Drive in-store sales of instruments, accessories, and lessons to meet and exceed targets Provide expert product guidance for band, orchestra, and related musical gear Support rental programs, including contracts, returns, and exchanges Deliver excellent customer service to students, parents, and educators Maintain merchandising standards, stocking, pricing, and visual displays Process POS transactions accurately, including cash handling and returns Promote private lessons and educational programs to new and existing customers Assist with store events, outreach, and school service initiatives Help train and mentor junior sales associates on products and sales techniques Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company policies Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale systems Cash handling Product knowledge - musical instruments Inventory management Visual merchandising Sales prospecting and upselling Lesson and rental program administration Basic computer proficiency
