By providing helpful product guidance and efficient checkout, you make shopping easier for customers and support a well-organized store. 21 and over only please Responsibilities Greet customers, answer questions, and recommend products based on their needs; conduct product demos when appropriate. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and cash register, process retail sales transactions, and handle cash and the cash drawer accurately. Use basic math and retail math to verify totals, payments, and change. Support retail sales through thoughtful upselling, maintain product knowledge, and keep displays merchandised and shelves stocked. Follow phone etiquette when answering calls and assist with other store tasks as needed. Experience Customer service, cashiering, cash handling, cash register operations, or retail sales experience is helpful. Clear communication skills and comfort working with customers are essential; bilingual ability is a plus. Grocery store experience and familiarity with retail store product knowledge are preferred. Supervising experience is a plus; this role may also suit candidates ready to build sales-floor leadership skills.
