Music & Arts seeks a PT Senior Sales Associate to support our mission of advancing music education. In this onsite retail role, you'll lead sales of band and orchestra instruments, accessories, rentals, and private lessons while delivering exceptional service to students, parents, and educators. You'll guide customers to the right products, support rental and lesson enrollment, coordinate repairs, and help maintain merchandising and store standards. Collaborating with a student-focused, performance-oriented team, you'll build lasting customer relationships and contribute to community music programs. Responsibilities Drive in-store sales of instruments, accessories, and services to meet or exceed targets Provide expert product guidance to students, parents, and educators Support instrument rentals, lesson sign-ups, and repair service coordination Deliver excellent customer service and maintain long-term customer relationships Merchandise and restock sales floor to company standards Use POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently Assist with store events, promotions, and community outreach activities Help train and mentor junior sales associates Required Skills Retail sales Point-of-sale (POS) systems Customer relationship management Product knowledge - musical instruments Merchandising Cash handling Inventory management Upselling and cross-selling Basic computer proficiency Lesson and rental program administration
