Responsibilities Operate the POS system accurately to process retail sales transactions, returns, and exchanges while handling cash, credit cards, and mobile payments with precision. Deliver engaging product demos to educate customers about features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities that enhance their shopping experience. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting shoppers warmly, answering questions clearly, and offering helpful recommendations based on their needs. Maintain the cash drawer by counting cash at the beginning and end of shifts, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and retail math calculations. Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising displays, and organizing products to ensure the store remains inviting and well-presented. Demonstrate phone etiquette when handling inquiries or assisting customers over the phone, maintaining professionalism at all times. Support store operations by supervising new team members when needed, guiding them through daily tasks such as cashiering or product knowledge sharing. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively in bilingual environments is advantageous. Proficiency with POS systems and cash register operations; basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling. Knowledge of retail store product lines and merchandising principles to assist customers confidently. Ability to perform retail math calculations quickly for transactions involving discounts or returns.
