About the Position Droste's Jewelry Shoppes is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Live Chat Customer Service Representative to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Evansville, Indiana. In this role, you will be one of the first points of contact for customers reaching out online. You will provide timely, helpful support through live chat, answer questions about our jewelry, services, pricing, and orders, and help guide customers through their purchasing experience. The ideal candidate is an excellent written communicator who enjoys helping people, stays organized, and can provide the warm, personalized service for which Droste's is known. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries through live chat. Answer questions regarding jewelry, inventory, pricing, services, and order status. Assist customers throughout the purchasing process and help connect them with the appropriate store team member when needed. Resolve basic customer questions or concerns with patience and care. Escalate detailed product, service, or order-related matters to the appropriate team member. Maintain accurate records of customer conversations and follow-up needs. Follow up on open inquiries to ensure customers receive complete and timely assistance. Collaborate with store associates to create a consistent experience across online and in-store interactions. A high school diploma or equivalent is accepted . Preferred but Not Required Previous experience in retail, customer service, sales, or another customer-facing position. Familiarity with live chat platforms, customer relationship management systems, or online order systems. Experience with jewelry, luxury goods, or special-occasion purchases.
