Budtender — New Mill Cannabis (Bethel, ME) New Mill Cannabis is Western Maine's dedicated medical cannabis dispensary, cultivating and hand-crafting our own products onsite in Bethel. We're looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate budtender to join our small team and help patients find the right products for their needs.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist MMMP patients in selecting flower, edibles, concentrates, and other products based on their needs, tolerance, and desired effects Educate patients on potency, dosing, strain effects, and consumption methods (especially important for edibles and first-time patients) Process sales accurately through Dutchie POS Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with physical counts Verify patient MMMP certification and ID at point of sale per OCP regulations Keep the sales floor, displays, and product signage clean, organized, and current Stay current on Maine OCP compliance requirements and METRC tracking as they relate to retail sales Maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications:

Must be 21+ (per Maine

MMMP/OCP

requirements) Must pass a background check per Maine cannabis licensing regulations Prior dispensary, retail, or customer service experience preferred Working knowledge of cannabis strains, consumption methods, and dosing — or strong willingness to learn Comfortable using POS systems (Dutchie experience a plus) Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends/holidays as needed Compassionate, patient-focused communication style — especially with medical patients managing chronic conditions
