Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to enhance their shopping experience Educate customers on product features, effects, and proper usage through engaging product demos and detailed explanations Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately and handle cash register operations Manage stock levels by stocking shelves, merchandising products attractively, and conducting inventory counts to ensure product availability Upsell complementary products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable options to maximize sales opportunities Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing information remotely Assist with supervising team members when needed, including overseeing daily store operations and ensuring adherence to safety and compliance standards Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in retail environments such as cannabis or wellness stores Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math for accurate transactions and cash drawer management Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers effectively and handle phone inquiries professionally Experience with supervising or leading team members is desirable but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising techniques, and stock management practices Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for sales transactions and inventory counts Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor Prior retail experience is advantageous but not required; a willingness to learn is essential Join us in delivering exceptional service while advancing your career in a dynamic industry!
