Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service by understanding their gardening, landscaping, or outdoor project needs. Assist customers with product selection, plant identification, floral design ideas, and landscape maintenance tips. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling and sales transactions. Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise displays, and ensure the store is inviting and well-maintained. Support e-commerce orders by picking items, managing online inquiries via phone or chat, and coordinating pickups or deliveries. Maintain knowledge of horticulture trends, plant care instructions, and seasonal product offerings to educate customers effectively. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations, including merchandising and inventory management. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or outdoor work environments preferred but not required; enthusiasm for gardening and landscaping is a plus! Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a valuable asset for serving diverse customers. Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, floral design, plant identification, and horticulture practices. Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail math, stock management, and merchandising. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking shelves and maintaining store displays. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic retail math calculations. Outgoing personality with the ability to communicate clearly over the phone or in person; customer service excellence is essential.
