Duties Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping needs, providing product information and recommendations Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer handling with integrity Upsell products by suggesting complementary items and conducting product demos to enhance customer experience Stock shelves efficiently, organize merchandise, and ensure products are well-presented through effective merchandising techniques Maintain phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely Conduct product demos to educate customers about new or featured items, encouraging sales Perform basic math calculations for transactions, discounts, and pricing adjustments while ensuring retail math accuracy Experience Previous retail sales or grocery store experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for motivated candidates Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations enhances your ability to serve customers swiftly Supervising experience is a plus, especially if you've led teams or managed store operations before Strong communication skills in English and bilingual abilities help connect with diverse customer bases Knowledge of grocery store products, merchandising strategies, and retail sales techniques will set you up for success Demonstrated ability to handle cash handling responsibilities responsibly and accurately Excellent customer service skills combined with phone etiquette ensure positive interactions at every touchpoint Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where customers leave satisfied and eager to return!
