Retail & Warehouse Associate - Part-Time (20 hrs/week)

EVERY FRIDAY AND SATURDAY

We are seeking a dependable, long‑term team member who wants to grow with our company. This position blends customer-facing retail work , warehouse responsibilities , and regular computer-based tasks , offering variety and skill development. Experience with livestock or agriculture is beneficial but not required. Position Overview This hourly role includes work in both the retail office and the warehouse . Candidates must be comfortable using computers throughout the day, including typing , basic data entry , and navigating software such as Excel , point‑of‑sale systems, and inventory tools. Strong keyboarding skills and accuracy are essential . Repetitive lifting of up to 60 lbs is required. Forklift operation is part of the job; prior experience is preferred. A standard work week is 20 hours , with an occasional 3rd day requested during peak seasons. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner Use computers daily for sales transactions, inventory lookups, data entry, and product research Type efficiently to process orders, update records, and communicate with customers Use Excel or similar tools for basic spreadsheets, inventory counts, and simple reporting Provide accurate information about products, pricing, and services Load purchased products into customer vehicles Cross-sell and recommend solutions based on customer needs Keep shelves stocked and maintain store organization Process returns and exchanges Coordinate with the retail team during peak hours Inform customers about promotions and special offers Share customer feedback with the Store Manager Stay current on new products and services Qualifications Proven experience as a Retail Sales Associate , Sales Representative , or similar role Strong computer proficiency , including: Fast and accurate typing Comfort with point‑of‑sale systems Basic Excel skills (entering data, sorting, simple formulas) Understanding of retail sales processes and customer behavior Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures Track record of meeting sales goals High school diploma or equivalent Forklift experience preferred Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.

Pay:

$17.50 per hour
