Job Overview The Farm Store is looking for a friendly, dependable, and hardworking individual to join our team. We are a locally owned and focused farm store offering fresh produce, meats, dairy products, and other locally made and sourced goods. As a Store Associate, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our customers while helping keep the store clean, organized, stocked, and running smoothly. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in their work, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful customer service Assist customers with products, questions, and purchases Operate the register and accurately handle cash and card transactions Stock and organize produce, refrigerated items, meats, dairy products, and other merchandise Check products regularly for quality and freshness Rotate inventory and remove products that are no longer suitable for sale Keep shelves, displays, coolers, checkout areas, and other store spaces clean and organized Help create attractive and well-stocked product displays Receive, unpack, price, and organize incoming merchandise Assist with opening and closing duties as needed Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the store Communicate inventory needs, customer requests, or product issues to management Learn about the products we carry so you can confidently assist customers Follow food-handling, cleanliness, and store safety procedures Work as part of a team and assist with other store duties as needed Experience & Qualifications Previous retail, grocery, farm market, food service, or customer service experience is preferred, but not required Friendly and comfortable interacting with customers Dependable, punctual, and able to follow through with assigned responsibilities Strong attention to detail and organization Willingness to learn about local produce, food, and the products we carry Able to work independently while also being a team player Comfortable working in a busy environment and switching between different tasks Able to stand for extended periods and perform normal retail tasks such as stocking and moving merchandise Must maintain a professional, positive attitude when working with customers and coworkers We are looking for someone who will take pride in The Farm Store and treat our customers, products, and store with care. The right person will be dependable, willing to learn, and ready to be part of a small business where everyone works together to get the job done.

Pay:

$10.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 35.0 per week
