Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting lawn care tools, plants, floral arrangements, and landscape maintenance supplies. Provide expert advice on plant identification, horticulture techniques, and gardening best practices to enhance customer satisfaction. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cashiering, cash handling, and processing transactions efficiently. Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves with seasonal plants, gardening supplies, and outdoor equipment. Support inventory management through stocking, inventory checks, and ensuring product availability for customers. Communicate effectively with customers via phone or in person to answer questions about products or services. Assist with floral design arrangements and garden setup demonstrations when needed to inspire customers' outdoor projects. Experience Previous outdoor work experience or hands-on gardening knowledge is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, retail math, cash handling, and cashiering procedures. Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, lawn care techniques, and landscape maintenance is advantageous. Experience in retail sales or customer service roles that require organizational skills and merchandising expertise. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Demonstrated ability to engage with customers confidently over the phone or in person to promote products and services effectively.
