Studs Building and Home is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Floor Associate to join our team. As a Sales Floor Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Duties

• Complete customer sales at check-out registers
• Assist with customer phone calls and in-store inquiries
• Receive payments on accounts
• Stock received inventory
• Assist with store displays
• Color match and mix paint products
• Assist with customer load outs if necessary
• Maintain and preserve quality/condition of inventoried items
• Complete store opening and/or closing procedures
• Accurately reconcile cash registers
• General housekeeping
• Assist Receiving and Ordering departments as needed
• Additional tasks assigned by Merchandizing Supervisor and/or Branch Manager Skills To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Ability to use computers and point of sale software
• Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately
• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred
• Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly sales floor
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries
