Automatic Appliance is looking for a

PART TIME

Counter Person. Could lead to full time with overtime for the right candidate. Our store hours are Monday through Saturday 8:30am-5pm.

PAY IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE

Job Overview As an Appliance Counter-Person, you'll help customers find the right appliances and make each store visit smooth and informative. You'll answer product questions, demonstrate features, process purchases, and keep the counter and merchandise organized.

Your impact:

Clear product guidance helps customers choose appliances that fit their needs and supports a confident, convenient buying experience. Responsibilities Welcome customers, identify their needs, and provide attentive customer service Explain appliance features, conduct product demos, and recommend relevant options through helpful upselling Process retail sales transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system; operate the cash register and handle cash and the cash drawer accurately Maintain product displays through stocking and merchandising, and keep retail store product knowledge current Support daily counter operations

Skills Required:

Customer service, retail sales, appliance sales, communication skills, phone etiquette, and the ability to explain products clearly

Required:

Cashiering, cash handling, cash drawer handling, cash register operations, POS use, and accuracy with basic math and retail math

Required:

Interest in appliances and willingness to build retail store product knowledge

Preferred:

Bilingual communication skills, and experience with product demos, upselling, retail sales transactions, or retail sales

Pay:

$1.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 44.0 per week
