Overview We are seeking a friendly and motivated Cashier/Sales Associate to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing transactions accurately, and assisting customers with their purchases. The ideal candidate will be reliable, outgoing, and eager to create a positive shopping experience for all visitors. This position is a seasonal opportunity, running from January through July, with a schedule of five days per week and weekend availability required. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience Operate cash registers efficiently and accurately handle cash, credit, and other payment methods Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to ensure a welcoming environment Assist customers in locating products and answering questions about merchandise Promote store promotions and special offers to enhance sales opportunities Ensure compliance with all safety and store policies during daily operations Support team members as needed to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service Requirements Previous experience in retail, cashiering, or sales is preferred but not required; training will be provided Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly Outgoing personality with the confidence to approach and engage customers Reliable with excellent punctuality and attendance records Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, during the seasonal period from January through July Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks associated with the role Join our team and be part of a dynamic environment where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
