This role helps customers understand product features, maintains merchandise displays, processes sales, coordinates product information, and ensures a clean and welcoming showroom environment. Common Job Roles Appliance Showroom Associate Appliance Sales Associate Home Appliance Specialist Appliance Retail Associate Showroom Customer Service Associate Key Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional showroom service Assist customers with selecting appliances based on their needs and preferences Explain product features, specifications, functions, and available options Answer questions about refrigerators, ranges, washers, dryers, and other home appliances Maintain accurate product information, pricing, and display materials Process customer orders, sales, and approved payments accurately Prepare quotes, sales documentation, and customer order information Maintain attractive, clean, and organized showroom displays Restock brochures, product materials, accessories, and showroom supplies Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams regarding product availability and orders Follow up on customer questions, orders, and service requests as needed Handle routine customer concerns and refer complex issues to management Follow company policies, sales procedures, and workplace safety standards Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous retail, appliance sales, showroom, customer service, or sales experience is an asset but not required Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good product-learning and presentation abilities Basic computer, POS, and order-entry proficiency Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a customer-focused retail environment Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Preferred Skills Knowledge of household appliances and their features Experience with retail sales or showroom operations Strong customer service and consultative selling abilities Familiarity with POS and inventory systems Good product comparison and problem-solving skills Strong organization and follow-up abilities Positive attitude and willingness to learn About the Company Orville's Home Appliances operates in the home appliance retail industry, providing household appliances and customer-focused showroom services.
