Someone Who:

Loves books and enjoys talking about books with all kinds of readers Has strong customer service skills and genuinely enjoys helping people Is patient, kind, welcoming, and accepting of all people Is comfortable using computers, point-of-sale systems, email, and basic technology Is dependable, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team Is willing to learn about the day-to-day operations of an independent bookstore Takes pride in keeping the store organized, inviting, and ready for customers The Position This is a part-time position, approximately three days per week, including Saturdays . Our bookstore is growing, and we are looking for someone who would like to grow with the company . There may be opportunities for increased hours and responsibility as the business develops.
