Job Summary Under the direction of the Pro Shop Manager and General Manager, the Pro Shop Associate assists with the daily operations of the golf course pro shop and guest service areas. This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to golfers, guests, and visitors while assisting with tee time operations, point-of-sale transactions, merchandise sales, golf cart coordination, driving range operations, and general cleanliness of the clubhouse and pro shop facilities. The Pro Shop Attendant helps create a welcoming and professional environment that reflects positively on Fountainhead Creek Golf Course LLC. Responsibilities

• Provides exceptional customer service to golfers, guests, tournament participants, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
• Assists with the daily operations of the golf pro shop including opening procedures, closing procedures, and maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Operates point-of-sale (POS) systems to process green fees, cart rentals, driving range fees, merchandise sales, food and beverage sales, and other golf course transactions.
• Schedules and manages tee times in accordance with golf course policies and daily operational procedures.
• Assists golfers with check-in procedures, course information, tournament information, and general guest inquiries.
• Maintains accurate cash handling procedures including balancing cash drawers, processing credit card transactions, preparing deposits, and generating sales reports as assigned.
• Assists with merchandising, stocking, inventory control, pricing, and display organization for golf shop merchandise, apparel, food, and beverage items.
• Coordinates with golf course maintenance staff, cart staff, and management regarding golf cart availability, driving range operations, course conditions, and operational updates.
• Monitors and assists with driving range operations including range ball inventory, cleanliness, setup, and guest service support.
• Ensures golf carts, clubhouse areas, restrooms, and pro shop facilities remain clean, organized, properly stocked, and presentable to guests.
• Communicates golf course policies, cart rules, dress code requirements, weather advisories, and operational updates to guests in a professional manner.
• Assists with tournaments, outings, special events, member events, and promotional activities as assigned.
• Assists food and beverage or grill operations when needed during peak business periods or special events.
• Reports customer concerns, safety issues, equipment problems, or operational concerns to the Pro Shop Manager or General Manager.
• Maintains knowledge of golf course rates, memberships, merchandise, tournaments, promotions, and daily operations in order to effectively assist guests.
• Maintains compliance with company policies related to cash handling, customer service, safety, and workplace conduct.
• Works collaboratively with all departments to promote a positive guest experience and efficient golf course operations.
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events based on operational needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned within the scope of golf course and clubhouse operations.

Minimum Requirements Education :

High School Diploma or GED.

Experience :

Customer service, retail, hospitality, food service, cash handling, or related experience.

Skills :

Basic computer and technology skills.

Preferred Requirements Education :

Associates Degree from an accredited university program.

Experience :

Golf course customer service OR One (1) year of retail, hospitality, food service, cash handling, or related experience.

Skills :

Experience using tee sheet software, POS systems, or reservation systems. Knowledge of the game of golf, golf terminology, and golf course operations.

Native Preference:
