Position Overview We are looking for a Hands-On Shop Team Lead who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and lead by example. In this role, you will be deeply involved in the daily physical assembly of our custom arcade cabinets while leading a small, dedicated shop team. You will be responsible for ensuring production stays on schedule, maintaining strict quality control standards, and making sure every build that leaves our shop is done right. If you have a strong mechanical or woodworking aptitude, fanatical attention to detail, and a track record of keeping projects and people moving efficiently, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Hands-On Assembly:
Actively build, assemble, and test custom arcade cabinets, including mechanical structure, apply graphics, controls installation, wiring, and component integration.
Team Leadership & Workflow:
Direct day-to-day shop activities, assign tasks, and keep the team focused and motivated to hit weekly production targets. Quality Assurance (QA): Inspect all in-progress and completed cabinets to ensure flawless construction, alignment, fit-and-finish, and electronic functionality.
Process & Output Monitoring:
Keep track of production schedules, identify bottlenecks, and solve problems quickly to maintain steady workflow.
Safety & Shop Standards:
Enforce shop safety protocols, ensure clean and organized workstations, and maintain tools and production machinery.
Training & Mentorship:
Onboard and guide team members, instilling a high standard of craftsmanship and efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills Hands-On Craftsmanship:
Experience with hand/power tools, woodworking/cabinetry, assembly, or mechanical fabrication. Basic low-voltage wiring or electronics assembly experience is a major plus.
Leadership Experience:
Prior experience in a supervisor, team lead, or shop foreman role is strongly preferred. Meticulous Attention to

An uncompromising eye for quality, spotting misalignment, minor blemishes, or wiring issues before a cabinet ships.
Problem-Solving & Time Management:
Ability to manage production deadlines, troubleshoot build issues on the fly, and keep a shop floor organized.
Communication:
Clear, constructive communication skills to keep the team aligned and provide regular updates on production status.
Physical Demands:
