Music & Arts is seeking a part-time Senior Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver exceptional service in our retail store. In this role, you'll guide students, parents, and educators in selecting band and orchestra instruments, rentals, accessories, and lessons. You'll lead by example on the sales floor, support merchandising and inventory, process transactions, and help meet store performance goals. You'll collaborate with a student-focused, inclusive team that values music education, community engagement, and strong relationships with schools and local music programs. Responsibilities Advise customers on instruments, rentals, accessories, and lesson options Achieve individual and store sales and performance goals Provide outstanding customer service to students, parents, and educators Support merchandising, stocking, and showroom presentation Process sales, rentals, and lesson enrollments accurately Handle basic POS, returns, and customer issues Collaborate with school service reps and local educators Maintain product and music education knowledge to guide customers Required Skills Retail sales Customer service Point-of-sale (POS) systems Product knowledge - musical instruments Inventory and merchandising Cash handling Sales reporting Lesson and rental program enrollment Communication Problem solving
